Laurie Gangarossa
Laurie Gangarossa is an HMONP architect and a graduate of the École nationale supérieure d'architecture de Clermont-Ferrand, having studied literature in khâgne and hypokhâgne.
She is co-founder of the atelier incipit in Lyon, where her practice combines different scales (architecture, urbanism, landscape) and narrative settings. Her work focuses mainly on public commissions, from project management to project management. They focus on public spaces and the common good in areas that are often on the margins and lacking in engineering.
As a member of the Board of Archipel Centre de Culture Urbaine in Lyon, she is involved in projects to promote architectural culture.
After teaching at Eav&t, ENSAG and ENSAL, she is now a lecturer at ENSACF, where she is elected to the CFVE and co-coordinates the City and Territories field. She teaches both design and research at ENSACF, both in the Bachelor's programme and in the Master's programme EVAN (Entre Ville Architecture et Nature).
A permanent member of the UMR Ressources at the same institution, she is also working on a dissertation in architecture at the Observatoire de la Condition Suburbaine laboratory (ED VTT, Université Paris-Est). Under the supervision of Sébastien Marot, her thesis is entitled "Chambres à soi. Figures d'architectes-autobiographes (1925-2025)', it examines the forms and conditions of autobiographical writing among architects and the ways in which it produces knowledge.
Her research maintains a dual culture of project and research, while exploring a variety of writing styles: from scientific to fictional, from descriptions of reality to forward-looking inventions.
