Winter School
Khalil Berro makes humanity’s deepest driving forces his central concern. His practice serves as a visual and material confrontation of life’s ambitions in the face of impermanence.
A nomadic witness, the Swiss-Lebanese artist works at the borders of human authority, collapsing material and temporal distances. Drawing from ongoing collaborations with scientists, Berro's works oscillate between the highly technological and the dangerously crude. While resisting prescribed narratives, he attends to the poetics of monuments and landscapes that bear witness to human striving.
Dans le cadre de la Winter School 2026 dont le commissariat a été confié à Vanessa Pointet & Thibaut Pierron, architectes, cofondateurs de l’agence Sub, qui ont choisi pour thématique The Arts of the Environment.
